The crane strips the locomotive for restoration to begin

The boiling hot water was then put through a jet wash

After a bit more work, more completed parts ready for fitting once the wheels are ready to go back in

A new sheet of steel to replace the badly bent and rusty buffer beam

Once the grease and oil was removed we had to build the back of the frames up with weld

Welding complete, and grinding back has now began

We then had the frames shot blasted and primed
